2025 Schedule
This year we are using Harbor Cove Beach in Ventura again, as well as Zuma Beach. All court numbers are located on the poles of each court at both locations. We will be using 9 to 12 of the 14 courts at Zuma Beach, and all 9 of the courts in Ventura Harbor for each tournament throughout the day.

With Will Rogers Sate Beach not being an option this year, we had to go with two different sites, meaning that the Varsity & JV groups will be playing at seperate locations. Both groups will alternate between the two sites each week. ​​

The Marmonte Beach League headquarters will be at the tables under the TO Beach easy-up tents at each location. Please return all duel match score sheets to the appropriate file folders (green for Varsity & Orange for JV) after each duel match (all three matches in your row of courts).

Sites -
Zuma Beach - volleyball courts are right near the entrance of the parking lot 30000 Pacific Coast Hwy Parking (3 Zuma Access Rd., Malibu, CA 90265). This is by the elbow of PCH and Westward Beach Rd. Parking on the street is free, or you may pay for lot parking. There are restrooms close by the courts, but food options close by are limited.

Harbor Cove Beach, Ventura - You will enter the Harbor at the E. Harbor Blvd. & Olivas Park Dr. intersection. Travel all the way towards the end of Spinnaker Dr. until you see the parking lot on your left in front of the 9 volleyball courts. Parking there is free in the lot and on the street but may fill quickly. The Harbor also has some restaurants and food options fairly close to the courts. It is a very nice location.
Each week the Varsity group will play at one of the sites, with the JV playing at the other. Each consecutive week the groups will alternate sites through Tourney #5. (See the 2025 League Schedule link above for details)
Reffing & Score Keeping Info
ATTENTION!!!!!!! Players & coaches, once again, we have a huge problem with players not doing their job in completely filling out and submitting the SCORE SHEETS accurately. Obviously, not having the results for matches makes it impossible to be able to keep accurate league standings. ​ Therefore, from tournament #3 forward, IF SCORE SHEETS ARE NOT FILLED OUT CORRECTLY, ALL INVOVLED TEAMS WILL TAKE A LOSS.

The scores sheet is extremely easy to figure out, but if you are still having trouble, continue to read here and see the samples.

For score sheet submitting, the Varsity folder is green, the JV is orange, and both are labeled appropriately.

Each court has a court score sheet on a clipboard, that stays on that court all day. Please make sure to fill the scores into this sheet after every set.

The match SCORE SHEET for the dual matches (all three individual matches) requires ALL of the blank spaces to be filled in accurately. These should also be filled out even when teams are forfeiting (and make sure it is clearly stated who is forfeiting). See below (& to your right) for sample score sheets.

This week for the Varsity;
Round 1 is the Bronze division only, Round 2 is Silver only, and Round 3 is Gold only.
Round 7 is Bronze only, Round 8 is Silver only and 9 is Gold only.
This week for the JV;
Round 1 will be the Bronze division only;
Round 7 will be the Gold division only;
Round 8 will be the Silver division only.

Coaches, please help to ensure that your program is submitting accurate score sheets for EVERY MATCH, and pay close attention to when and where you play and ref..

Coaches, please make sure to communicate any time you are missing any pairs. We should have some extras at the JV level who can fill in.
9/27/25 - League Championship Tournament
ALL TEAMS (both Varsity & JV) will play at Zuma Beach for the Championship Tournament.
​
The Championship Tournament will have a similar format to last year, due to the three different divisions and large number of teams in the league. Teams will be placed into Division 1 or Division 2 playoff brackets, based on a power ranking system (see power rankings and tier information on the 2025 results page).

More details will be coming closer to the Championship date.
10/4/25 - JV Pairs Championship
at Zuma Beach, starting at 8:00am
​
18 JV Pairs have signed up (see registration list linked below). The format will be like the pre-season pairs tournament, with pool play and playoffs. Three matches in pool play and at least one match in the playoffs (all pairs qualify for gold of silver division brackets).

Play starts at 8:00am, please arrive by 7:20am to check in and help setup your courts!
