2026 Schedule
This year we are back to Will Rogers State Beach in Pacific Palisades. All court numbers are located on the poles of each courts, and track in order from the parking lot toward the ocean, and south towards Santa Monica. We will be using 18 of the 21 courts at Will Rogers, 9 for varsity & 9 for JV.
The Marmonte Beach League headquarters will be at the tables under the TO Beach easy-up tents, near court 4. Please return all duel match score sheets to the appropriate file folders (green for Varsity & Orange for JV) after each duel match (all three matches in your row of courts).
Any questions, ask the league director (Seth Burnham), assistant director (Steve Barrus), equipment manager (Noah Nailor), or the JV score collector (TBD).

Sites -
Will Rogers State Beach - Will Rogers will be used for all league tournaments but one. The volleyball courts are south of the furthest points south in the parking lot. Enter the Will Roger State Beach parking lot 17,000 Pacific Coast Hwy, Pacific Palisades, and Temescal Canyon Road. Parking gets back up quickly early in the morning when everyone is trying to enter, so make sure to play ahead. The closest restrooms and far north of the courts, and there are very few food or drink options anywhere near the courts, so plan ahead.
Harbor Cove Beach, Ventura - Harbor Cover will be used for Tournament #3. You will enter the Harbor at the E. Harbor Blvd. & Olivas Park Dr. intersection. Travel all the way towards the end of Spinnaker Dr. until you see the parking lot on your left in front of the 9 volleyball courts. Parking there is free on the street, or by pay in the lot. The Harbor also has some restaurants and food options fairly close to the courts. It is a very nice location.
Reffing & Score Keeping Info
ATTENTION!!!!!!! Players & coaches, once again, we have a huge problem with players not doing their job in completely filling out and submitting the SCORE SHEETS accurately. Obviously, not having the results for matches makes it impossible to be able to keep accurate league standings. Therefore, from tournament #3 forward, IF SCORE SHEETS ARE NOT FILLED OUT CORRECTLY, ALL INVOVLED TEAMS WILL TAKE A LOSS.
The scores sheet is extremely easy to figure out, but if you are still having trouble, continue to read here and see the samples.
For score sheet submitting, the Varsity folder is green, the JV is orange, and both are labeled appropriately.
Each court has a court score sheet on a clipboard, that stays on that court all day. Please make sure to fill the scores into this sheet after every set.
The match SCORE SHEET for the dual matches (all three individual matches) requires ALL of the blank spaces to be filled in accurately. These should also be filled out even when teams are forfeiting (and make sure it is clearly stated who is forfeiting). See below (& to your right) for sample score sheets.

9/26/26 - League Championship Tournament
ALL TEAMS (both Varsity & JV) will play at Will Rogers Beach for the League Championship Tournament.
The Championship Tournament will have a similar format to last year, due to the three different divisions and large number of teams in the league. Teams will be placed into Division 1 or Division 2 playoff brackets, based on a power ranking system (see power rankings and tier information on the 2026 results page).
More details will be coming closer to the Championship date.
10/3/26 - JV Pairs Championship
at Will Rogers Beach, starting at 8:00am
The format will be like the pre-season pairs tournament, with pool play and playoffs. Three matches in pool play and at least one match in the playoffs (all pairs qualify for gold of silver division brackets).
Play starts at 8:00am, please arrive by 7:20am to check in and help setup your courts!
